Valentines Day Heart Cake

A very romantic cake for your special Valentine's day celebration

  • Maida 1 1/3 cup
  • Granulated sugar 3/4 cup
  • Milk 3/4 cup
  • Vanilla essence 1 teaspoon
  • Baking soda 1 teaspoon
  • Baking powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt a pinch
  • 200 gm Non diary Whipped Cream
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Curd 1/2 cup


  • Preheat oven to 180°C. Grease and line a 7″ round cake tin. In a bowl mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and baking soda. Add the curd, oil, milk and vanilla in the centre. Mix it to form a smooth batter.
  • Pour it into the prepared cake tin. Bake for 30-40 minutes or until a tooth pick inserted comes out clean.
  • Let the cake cool completly before icing it. Cut the cake into two horizontal layers. Spread 2 Tablespoon cream between the layers. Cover the sides and top with the cream.
  • Use any nozzle to decorate as per wish. Chill for 30 minutes before serving.
