Quick an easy healthy upma is famous recipe from South india.
1 cup rawa
2 1/2 cup water
1 roughly chopped onion
1 spring curry leaves
2 green chilies cut into small pieces
1/4 teaspoon cumin seeds
1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
Salt to taste
2 tablespoons roughly chopped coriander leaves
3 tablespoons cooking oil
Heat oil in wok and crackle cumin seeds n mustard seeds when seeds stop crackling, add peanuts, curry leaves n green chilies and saute for 20-30 seconds.
Add onion saute for minute on low flame.
Add salt n mix really well.
Add semolina n water. Mix it well n cook till it done.
Add coriander leaves n mix it. Upma is ready to serve.
Serve this delicious healthy upma with your fav chutney.
U can also add turmeric powder with salt. This will give nice yellowish color.
