Turnips With Spinach

Ingredients
- 3 Turnip peeled, diced into cubes
- 2 Tomatoes chopped
- 1 Onion sliced
- 1 bunch Spinach chopped
- Salt to taste
- Red Chili Powder to taste
- ¾ tsp Turmeric Powder
- ¾ tsp Coriander Powder
- ½ tsp Ginger paste
- 1 tsp Garlic paste optional
- ¾ tsp Cumin Seeds
- 3 Green Chilies or red chilies, slit
- 2 tbsp Oil
- Cilantro finely chopped

Instructions
- In a pan, heat oil.
- Once the oil is hot, add in the cumin seeds and allow them to sizzle
- Add sliced onions and sauté it till it changes colour on a medium flame
- Add ginger and garlic paste for a minute
- Add chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chili powder, salt and coriander powder.
- Cover and cook for another 2 minutes till done
- Add turnips, mix it well and cover it and cook on low flame till it 3/4th done
- Add chopped spinach, green/red chilies and cilantro. Mix well, cover it and cook on low flame till it changes the colour or look like roasted and oil gets separated
- Serve hot with chapatis or naan
