Tofu avacodo salad is very nutritious and healthy option for your lunch , breakfast & brunch. Usually salads are prepared with varieties of small food items mainly vegetables. In this salad tofu and avacoda are two main ingredients. Tofu is less in calories prepared using soya milk . Soy foods are very helpful in losing fats and cholesterol. Avocado is very heart friendly vegetable, it’s monounsaturated fat aids in lowering elevated cholesterol levels those are main cause for excess weight,obesity & insulin resistance. Low calories , vitamin rich and essential nutrients will be helpful for weight loss , vegetables are dieter’s best friend , to get the best effects each salad should have atleast few grams of fats to absorb all the nutrients from vegetables avacodo is the best fat to use in salads. salads are best and easy option to prepare to have before or after your workout session even for breakfast, lunch and brunch . Ingredients
  

  • Tofu - 15 -20 cubes
  • Avocado - 2
  • Black olives - Few slices
  • Lettuce - Chopped 1 Cup
  • Italian Seasoning - 1/4 Tsp
  • Carrot - 1/2
  • Cucumber - 1/2
  • For Orange dressing
  • Orange - 1
  • Honey - Few drops
  • Sweet dry basil - 1/4 Tsp

Instructions
 

  • Wash the lettuce in cold water and soak it in cold water and keep aside
  • Heat a nonstick tawa , meanwhile cut the tofu into small cubes.
  • Sprinkle mixed Italian herbs on tofu and mix well. Then place the tofu in Tawa & grill both sides

  • Grill the tofu until it slightly coats golden brown and switch off the flame
  • Now take a large bowl place a lettuce leaves, then add a bed of sliced lettuce levels.
  • Add all others vegetables sliced cucumber, carrots & olives.
  • Add sliced avocado and then tofu at top.

  • For dressing squeeze oranges in a bowl add honey Few drops and mix with dried sweet basil leaves
  • Add dressing at the top of the salad & mix well. Refrigerate and serve after 30 minutes. Avacodo Tofu Salad Ready
