Round guard in Hindi is called tinda. Most of it's recipes are made and eaten in north. Bharwan tinda, tinda dry sabji, tinda masala, etc are made in their own way using spices. It's mostly served with daal chawal or parantha.

- kg Round Guard /2 Kg round guard /2
- 1 large Onion sliced nos
- Ginger garlic paste 2 tsp
- 1-2 tsp Salt or as per taste
- 1 tsp Cumin
- 1 tsp Red Chili Powder
- 2 Green Chillies nos
- 2 large Tomato
- 1/2 tsp Kasuri Methi powder
- 1 tbsp Coriander Powder
- 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1 tbsp Oil

Instructions
- Cut the top of round guard (tinda) like a cap, Gently scoop out the centers, keep aside. Make a paste with tomato and green chili
- Heat the oil in a pan and pop the cumin seeds, now saute the ginger, garlic paste. Fry the onion golden, add turmeric, coriander powder, red chili powder let it cook for 5 minutes
- Add tomato puree cook it to 5 minute add tinda, salt and kasoori methi. Cover and cook 10 minutes. garnish with coriander leaves, serve hot with paratha or chapaati รขโฌยฆรขโฌยฆ
