Tiffin Aloo Gobhi(kids Special) My daughter is not fond of Aloo Gobhi,she always make bad faces when she gets to know that i'am going to make this vegetable for lunch or in her tiffin 🙁 One day i tried some different way to cook this Aloo Gobhi and when she came back from her school,she asked me what i have made for lunch,i did not answered her that time ,because i knew her reaction. So when i have served her lunch with this sabzi ,she said its really tasty and asked for more 🙂 Cool Na! She liked this vegetable very much and told me to make it for her Tiffin Box ! A great feeling that your kid has started eating those vegetables which she doesn't want to see even! The aroma of fried cauliflower and its beautiful fragrance is just awesome.Even i also liked this style of making aloo Gobhi. You can serve this vegetable in kids tiffin also best accompanied with paratha or puri .This yum yum Aloo Gobhi is now everyone's favorite in my house 🙂 Here goes the tasty recipe of My Tiffin Aloo Gobhi-

Ingredients
  

  • Cauliflower - half kg cut it in a normal medium size wash it and strain
  • Potatoes - 3 to 4 medium sized in small cube size
  • Onions - 2 medium sized thinly sliced
  • Tomatoes - 3 to 4 medium sized finely chopped
  • Garlic - 5 to 6 cloves crushed
  • Ginger - 1/2 tsp grated
  • Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp
  • Red dry chili - 2 to 3 optional
  • Red chili powder as per taste. you can skip if your kids doesn't have
  • Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
  • Dry mango powder - 2 tsp
  • Coriander powder - 1 tsp
  • Salt
  • Sugar - 1/2 tsp
  • Oil for frying

Instructions
 

  • Firstly take a wok add 5to 6 tbsp oil in it,let it heat properly. Then add cauliflower and deep fry it. Fry it till it changes the color ( do not over fry it) Then taken the cauliflower out and keep it in a bowl.

  • After that take the potatoes and fry them in the same oil. Fry it till they turn little golden in color.Take them out and keep aside. Then take out some excess of oil from the wok and just keep around 2 tbsp in the wok.

  • Now add cumin seeds and dry chilies in the wok. Add garlic and ginger also and fry it. Add sliced onions and fry them till it turns translucent in color.
  • After this add chopped tomatoes and sugar in it. Now add all the dry masalas in it. Stir it and mix the masala very well.
  • Now when you will find that the masala is incorporated very well then add the fried gobhi and aloo in the masala. Mix it very gently,so that the cauliflower should not break.
  • Lastly you can sprinkle some more coriander powder and dry mango powder for a tangy and flavorful taste. Your Aloo Gobhi is ready to be packed in your kids Tiffin Boxes 🙂
