  • 1 - 2 cup Chickpeas kabuli chana, soaked overnight and boiled till soft
  • 1 Potato medium sized boiled and peeled
  • 1 to Tomato large
  • 1 Onion medium sized (optional)
  • 1 Green Chillies
  • 2 - 3 tsp Coriander green
  • 1 - 2 tsp Lemon Juice
  • 2 - 3 tsp Chaat Masala
  • 1/2 tsp Salt adjust as per requirement, or as per taste


  • Ensure the soaked chickpeas are boiled with salt, until soft and tender.
  • Chop the boiled potato, tomato onion and green chilli into small pieces. Chop coriander leaves.
  • In a wide bowl, mix together boiled chickpeas, potato, tomato, onion, chopped coriander leaves, lime juice, chaat masala, black salt and salt.
  • Blend well, so that all the ingredients mix well. Serve this salad immediately. Incase you want to store it for an hour or so, refrigerate it.
