This elegant, easier-than-it-looks take on tartufo, the Italian frozen dessert, is made by packing ice cream into a bowl, topping them with a cookie-crumb mixture. It has a maraschino cherry hidden inside.

Ingredients
- Vanilla ice cream 1 cup
- Choclate cookies 1 pack
- Maraschino cherries as required

Instructions
- Add choclate cookies in blender and grind into crumbs.
- Add choclate crumbs in a deep bowl and keep in fridge fo later use.
- Fill a silicone mold of any shape to the top with vanilla ice cream.
- Poke a hole in the center of the vanila ice cream with a handle of a wooden spoon and put a cherry into the hole
- Cover the hole with a bit of ice cream and put the mould in freezer for 20 minutes .
- Demould icecream and put into the bowl of cookies crumbs.
- Pressing gently to completely coat the ice cream.
- Put the ice -cream on a tray and freeze for 30 minutes.
- Remove the Tartufos from the freezer, slice and serve.
Notes
- You need to be quick while working with ice-cream as it melts quickly.
- Any shape mould is used to give a shape to ice-cream.
- 2-3 types of ice-cream can he used for preparing ice -cream layer’s.
- On top melted choclate can be used for coating.
