Here is an easy recipe of Tangri Malai Kebab which you can easily make at home and enjoy it. The chicken drumsticks is marinated in spices, curd and cheese for couple of hours and baked to perfection. Succulent, soft and juicy kebabs are ready with few mins. I have made this recipe in microwave oven but you can do it in an OTG, only the cooking time will be little extra incase you bake it in an OTG.

Ingredients
  

  • Chicken Leg - 2
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
  • Salt
  • Cheese grated - 3 tsp
  • Thick Curd - 2 tsp
  • Fresh cream - 3 tbsps
  • Coriander powder - ½ tsp
  • Cardomom powder - ¼ tsp
  • Oil - 1 tbsp
  • Butter for basting

Instructions
 

  • Take the chicken legs and make deep slashes and pat dry with kitchen towel. Add ginger garlic paste, 1 tsp Pepper powder, lemon juice, salt to taste and mix well. Set this aside for sometime for about 15 mins.
  • Now take all the remaining ingredients in a bowl except the butter and mix well. Add the chicken Leg into the mixture, mix well and coat the chicken nicely and marinate for atleast 2 hours or overnight.
  • Take the chicken Leg in the grill tray. Baste with melted butter and microwave on combination mode (microwave +grill) for 15-20 mins. Turn sides every 5 mins and baste with melted butter.
  • Remove and serve with onions and lemon or green Chutney.

Notes

For oven mode – Preheat oven @180 for 10 and bake for 35-40 mins or as per your oven temperature. Flip over in between the baking.
