Sweet And Sour Cauliflower

Crispy fried cauliflower tossed in sweet and sour sauce. An easy recipe with cauliflower serve with steamed rice or have it like that.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 head cauliflower cut in small florets
  • 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 3 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • 2 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoon vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 2 tbsp all purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp cornflour
  • Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • Water as required for making batter
  • Oil for frying

Instructions
 

  • In a small mixing bowl take ginger garlic paste, ketchup, soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, lemon juice and olive oil. Mix everything well and keep aside.
  • In another mixing bowl take flour, cornflour, salt, pepper and baking soda. Add water and make a smooth batter.
  • Add the cauliflower florets into the mixture until each florets are coated well.
  • Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the flour coated cauliflower florets till nice golden brown.
  • Take it out on a kitchen towel to remove excess oil.
  • Heat another pan add in the sauce prepared in the beginning and let it cook for 2 minutes on low medium flame.
  • Add in the fried cauliflower and gently stir to coat the sauce evenly with the cauliflower florets.
  • Garnish with some finely chopped coriander leaves and Serve!
