This is a traditional south indian laddu, made with urad dal. Very tasty and very easy to make.

  • 1 cup Urad Dal
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1/3 cup Desi Ghee rd
  • 4 Cardamom


  • Dry roast the urad dal on hot tawa until it turns golden brown. Keep aside to cool it completely.
  • Now grind the roasted dal into a fine powder.
  • Grind the sugar along with the CARDAMOM pods as well. Mix the powdered sugar into the ground dal.
  • Now melt the ghee (just melt and not boil).
  • Mix this into the dal + sugar Mix, mix well and form LADDUS.
