Stuffed Tomato

In this recipe I have mainly used tomatoes my hubby s favorite vegetable is 🍅 tomato so do I . I have given a first try while making. It came out awesome. The stuffing what I have used is the panneer an mushrooms.

  • 2 big 🍅 tomatoes
  • 1/2 slab panneer
  • 1 onion chopped
  • Few coriander leaves
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • Pinch of turmeric pd
  • 1 tsp garam masala pd
  • 3 onions long sliced
  • 3 🍅 tomatoes chopped
  • 1 cup fresh cream
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp red chilli pd
  • Salt
  • 1 tbsp garam masala pd
  • 1 tbsp kasturi methi
  • 6to8 cashewnuts
  • Coriander for garnishing
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • Pinch of tandoori color


  • In a kadai add oil fry onions, tomatoes, cashewnuts, fry till light pink. Then off the gas too cool. Then grind into smooth paste. Then in a kadai add butter fry kasturi methi ,then add red chilli pd, an mix then add the gravy an keep stirring

  • Then add fresh cream,salt, chopped coriander leaves an garam masala pd an color &mix well. In another pan add oil fry chopped onions,then add smashed panneer, chopped mushrooms an add salt, turmeric pd chopped coriander an garam masala pd an mix well
  • Keep aside too cool . Then in another pan take the °Å¸Ââ€¦ tomatoes divide into half an deseed it, an shallow fry it in little oil till soft.Then remove it too cool.Then add the stuffing an keep aside. Before serving place it inside the gravy & then serve


In this dish you can use different stuffing like you can use egg burji or potatoes stuffing,or only mushrooms stuffing . But I have used the combination of panneer an mushrooms .
