Ingredients
 

  • 250 gm pointed gourd
  • 2 tbsp fresh coconut
  • 2 tbsp mustard seeds
  • 2 tbsp poppy seeds
  • 2 tbsp white sesame
  • 2 tbsp Ginger paste
  • 2 tbsp Green Chillies chopped
  • 2 tbsp coconut milk
  • 2 tsp mustard oil
  • Salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Wash the poined gourd and cut vertically. Take out the flesh from inside and keep separate.

  • Now make a paste with coconut, flesh of pointed gourd, mustard seeds, poppy seeds, white sesame, ginger, green chillies and salt

  • Heat a pan add 1 tsp oil add chopped green chillies and the paste then sauté. In other side make par boil the pointed gourd.

  • Now fill the cooked paste into the boiled pointed gourd and keep aside.

  • Now again add 1 tsp mustard oil on the pan sauté the stuffed pointed gourd. Cook for a few minutes and add the remaining paste and cook for a minute.

  • Now it is ready to serve. It can serve with steamed rice.
