Stuffed Okra (Bhindi/Lady’S Finger)

Ingredients
- Okra - 1/2 kg
- Red Chilli powder - 1 Teaspoon
- Coriander Powder - 4 Teaspoon
- Turmeric Powder - A pinch
- Mustard Oil - 3 Teaspoon
- Salt
- Cumin Seeds - 1/2 Teaspoon
- Lemon - Half or To taste
- Any other spice that you may be fond of
Instructions
- You need to wipe each of the Okra well and thereafter cut the tops and dissect it horizontally on one side leaving it joined on the other side.
- Now you have to fill each okra with a little bit of this mixture.
- Once all the okra is stuffed with the mixture you could keep it aside.
- Mix all the spices, a tea spoon of mustard oil and lemon juice well.
- Add just a little bit of salt to the mixture.
- Now, take a pan and pour 2 teaspoon of mustard oil in the pan. Once the oil heats, add your stuffed Okra. keep the flame medium and keep stirring occasionally.
- In around ten minutes your stuffed Okra would be ready to serve depending on the quality of Okra.
- Best served with steamed rice, salad and lentil or chapatis (Indian flat breads).
- Just enjoy this all good vegetable with these good for health spices. Love your food and make life grand.
- Serving Tip: Sprinkle a little bit of salt and chaat masala while serving. This brings additional taste to your dish.
