Stir Fry Pepper Mushroom

A simple and quick hot spicy pepper mushroom is a perfect recipe for winter. Dry masala mix of pepper, fennel and coriander seeds give this dish a beautiful flavor and aroma.

  • 200 gm button mushroom
  • Capsicum 1 small
  • Ginger paste 1/2 teaspoon
  • Garlic paste 1/2 teaspoon
  • Onion 1 Medium Size
  • Curry leaves 1 spring
  • Mustard seeds 1 teaspoon
  • Salt
  • Oil 2 tablespoon
  • To be roasted and ground
  • Pepper 1 tablespoon
  • coriander seeds 1 teaspoon
  • fennel 1/2 teaspoon


  • To hot oil add mustard seeds, onion and curry leaves. Saute till onion turns lightly pink.
  • Add ginger and garlic , half of the ground spice mix. Cook for a minute.
  • Add the mushroom, salt and stir fry on a high flame for 2 minutes
  • Add the remaining spice, capsicum and stir fry for 3-4 minutes.
  • Serve hot with rice, roti or have it as it is!
