About Steamed Bananas With Coconut Fillings
Recently I visited my friend who lives in Kerala and she served this as breakfast to us. It was so delicious and mouthwatering which can be made very easily. Of course a stomach filling one too. A very healthy breakfast or evening tiffin for growing children and an interesting way to make them eat fruits. Every bite of this gives awesome taste with the perfect blending of coconut, banana and honey.....

Ingredients
- Nendram Pazham ripe plantains 4 nendram pazham
- 3 spoons Grated Coconut fresh tb
- 2 spoons Honey tb
- 2 spoons Brown Sugar or sugar or sugar tb

Instructions
- In a pan dry roast the coconut till the moisture goes and keep it aside. Once it cools down mix sugar or brown sugar with it and keep aside.
- Remove the edges on the both sides of the Plantain and cut them in to two pieces. Make a slit vertically on the banana.
- With the help of a spoon stuff the coconut mix in to the banana. Place the stuffed bananas in to the idly cooker or steamer and cook for 10 minutes.
- Or you can microwave them for a minute. Then pour a tea spoon of honey on the coconut and serve hot.
Recipe Notes
Finely chopped nuts can be added to the coconut to make it more healthy for kids
