Water chestnut is very easy to digest. It is zero fat and nutritious. It grows in water in the month of autam and winter. Usually we peal and eat like other fruits. Sometimes we use in salad. When it becomes had we can boil and cook. Here I made the recipe with spinach. Sometimes you may feel the step by step similar pictures with different recipes that's because I do different recipes with same ingredients. If you watch my blog there are more recipes with spinach.

Ingredients
  

  • Chestnut boiled 250 grams
  • Spinach paste 1 cup
  • Green chilli paste 1 tbsp
  • Curd 2 tbsp
  • All ground masala 1 tsp
  • Cinnamon powder 1/2 tsp
  • Oil 1 tbsp
  • Cream 1 tbsp
  • Salt
  • Salt

Instructions
 

  • After washing spinach boil without lid. Make a smooth paste.

  • Heat oil in a pan add cumin seeds when starts spluttering pour the spinach paste. Stir then add green chilli paste, cinnamon powder.

  • Now add curd and all ground masala. Cook without cover.

  • Add boiled chestnut and salt. Cook for a few minutes add cream. Then serve along with as you wish.

It goes with chapati, steam rice, jeera rice, paratha,
