Spinach Couscous Tikki (Green Pattie)

Spinach is a good source of iron follicacid eventhen green leaves have many nutrition. Sometimes kids don't know the benefit green leaves. So parents have to struggle with them. I always search for easy, nutritious, traditional, authentic recipe. In this recipe I used potato, roasted Bengal gram, little semolina for binding. Used couscous for crunchyness. At last sprinkle with self made spice. So it has become a tasty snacks. We can also keep for sometimes when feel hungry or to serve anybody just warm and sprinkle the tasty spice.

Ingredients
- Spinach paste 1/2 cup
- Mashed potatoes 1 cup
- Roasted Bengal gram 2 tbsp
- Semolina 1 tbsp
- Onion paste 2 tbsp
- Garlic paste 1 tsp
- Ginger paste 1 tbsp
- Green chilli paste 1 tbsp
- Roasted cumin powder 1 tbsp
- Couscous 2 tbsp
- Dried mango powder 1 tsp
- Oil for shallow fry 2 tbsp
- Salt
- Spice for sprinkle
- Chat masala 1 tsp

Instructions
- Wash the spinach leaves boil and blanch. Then make a smooth paste.
- Take a mixing bowl add mashed potatoes, chilli paste, roasted cumin powder, salt, spinach paste, dried mango powder, Combine together then slowly add gram powder. Again mix add semolina as a binding a.agent.
- Coat with couscous and turn other side coat .
- Heat oil in a frying pan.
- Try to make each tikki 1 tbsp.
- Shallow fry the tikkis.
- After a few minutes turn other side. Fry another few minutes and see how the texture has
- Take out for serving.
- Self made spice is mixture of mango powder, chat masala, black salt and red chilli powder.
- Serve with self made spice.
Notes
It goes with tea/ coffee or without any other.
