Spinach And Mushroom Cigars - this is a fusion with a puff pastry base and spinach and mushroom filling. Makes for the perfect evening snack with cup of hot tea. It also helped us win a competition. 🙂

Ingredients
- 1 cup Refined Flour Maida
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 cup Mushroom
- 1 bunch Spinach
- 500 gm Butter
- Water as required
- 1 tsp tsp Pizza seasoning
- 2 tbsp Cheese
- 1 tsp Oil

Instructions
- Mix salt and maida in a bowl. add water to make a semi soft dough. roll the dough into a rectangular sheet and spread a layer of room temperature butter.
- Fold the dough from either side and repeat the same process at least 5-6 times.
- To make the filling, add chopped garlic in hot oil in a pan. stir for 30 seconds. Add chopped mushrooms and sauté for 1 min.
- Add chopped spinach and salt. cook till all moisture evaporates. Add pizza seasoning. add cheese once the filling cools down.
- Cut out several strips from the dough and add the filling and seal the edges of each strip using little water on the sides.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degree for 20 mins till the puff pastry is cooked through and turns golden brown on top. it will be very crispy and flaky. Serve hot.
