About this recipe

Sore throat popsicles are easy to make and tastes pretty good. It has lemon, honey ginger and pear which are all proven to have soothing effects on sores and raw throat. Honey mixed with lemon and ginger helps to cure soar throat. Pear also has anti- inflammatory property which relieve the symptoms of sore throat. If you are getting bored to consume honey, lemon and ginger paste or any syrup to cure your sore throat, try these popsicles for this will really cure your throat.

Ingredients for Sore Throat Popsicles

  • 2 pear,chopped
  • 5 tbsp Honey
  • 1 tspn ginger paste
  • 2 tspn lemon juice
  • 3/4 Cup water required for pear puree and for honey ginger mixture

How to cook Sore Throat Popsicles

  1. Put the chopped pear in blender and blend it to make a puree,keep aside.
  2. In a pan add little water and chopped ginger and bring to a simmer .Then add pear puree and honey and simmer for another 1-2 min .
  3. Remove from the heat and set aside to cool at room temperature.
  4. Pour the mixture in to a bowl through a strainer and stir lemon juice.
  5. Place few chopped pear in to popsicles molds and then add the pear honey mixture over it.
  6. Place it in a freezer and freeze for 5 hrs or overnight.
  7. Run warm water on popsicles mold for a minute to loosen them up so that they can easily be removed from the molds.
