Ingredients for Sookha Kathal

  • 1/2 kg jack fruit
  • 2 large sliced onion
  • 1 tsp ginger,garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tbsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala powder
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 4 no clove
  • 2 no green cardamom
  • 1 tsp fenugreek seeds
  • 2 tbsp + 1 tsp oil for frying
  • coriander leaves chopped for garnishing

How to cook Sookha Kathal

  1. wash and slice the jack fruit and wash one more time . heat the oil and fry the jack fruit golden .
  2. now add remaining oil saute the fenugreek seeds,cardamom, add ginger,garlic paste . saute the onion slice golden ,add turmeric,chili,coriander powder and cook the spices .
  3. add fried jackfruit sim the heat and cook it for 10 minutes. add lemon juice,garnish with coriander leaves ,serve hot with paratha...


Add tomatoes  as your taste ...
