Ingredients for Sookha Kathal

  • jackfruit 1/2 kg
  • sliced onion 2 large
  • ginger,garlic paste 1 tsp
  • coriander powder 1 tbsp
  • turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • red chili powder 1/2 tbsp
  • garam masala powder 1 tsp
  • lemon juice 1 tbsp
  • clove 4 no
  • green cardamom 2 no
  • fenugreek seeds 1 tsp
  • 2 tbsp oil for frying + 1 tsp
  • coriander leaves chopped for garnishing

How to cook Sookha Kathal

  1. wash and slice the jack fruit and wash one more time .
  2. heat the oil and fry the jack fruit golden
  3. now add remaining oil saute the fenugreek seeds,cardamom, add ginger,garlic paste .
  4. saute the onion slice golden ,add turmeric,chili,coriander powder and cook the spices
  5. add fried jack fruit Sim the heat and cook it for 10 minutes.
  6. add lemon juice,garnish with coriander leaves ,serve hot with paratha...
