Classic Sindhi Pakode to go with a steaming cup of tea....!!

  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon whole coriander
  • 1 cup Besan
  • ½ teaspoon red chilli powder
  • 1 tablespoon green coriander leaves finely chopped
  • 2 green chillies chopped finely
  • Oil for deep frying.
  • Water to make batter
  • Salt


  • Add all ingredients except the oil and water to Besan. Add water to make semi- thick batter. Heat oil for deep frying. Add 1 tablespoon hot oil to the pakoda batter and mix well.
  • Put in Big heaped tablespoon batter in the oil at medium flame. Make round big pakodas.
  • Half fry them only. Now from each big pakoda make 5-6 small pakodas and fry again. Serve hot with Pav and green coriander chutney.
