Yield / Serves
Wheat flour coarsely 1 medium bowl
Jaggery grated less then 1 bowl or 3/4
Ghee 4/5 tbsp
Water 2 glass
Cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
Chopped cashew 7/8
Chopped almond 10/12
Chopped pistachio 10
Some almond pistachio and cardamom powder for garnish
Take a kadhai add ghee and flour and roast it.
Take a deep vessel add 2 glass water and jaggery for boiling on another gas. Now keep stirring to flour mixture without any intervals.
When it becomes light brown in colour and you kitchen filled by aroma of flour add jaggery water in it.
Keep stirring the mixture without leaving.After 8 to 10 minute mixture becomes thick and evaporate excess water. It start to leave sides of kadhai.
Now add chopped nuts and cardamom powder and mix well.Your halwa is ready to serve.
Serve with nuts as your wish.
You can use milk in space of water and use sugar in place of jaggery.
