shahi kaju paneer gravy. ingredients: paneer-400gmr cashew nuts-1cup poppy seeds-2tbsp onion-2big ginger garlic paste-2tbsp red chilly powder-2tbsp turmeric powder-1tbsp garam masala-1tbsp kasuri methi-1tbsp coriander leaves-a handful green chilies
soak the cashew nuts and poppy seeds for 1 hour and grind it with 1 cup of water to make a paste.
take maida and corn flour make a thick paste with little water and marinate with paneer cubes.
heat oil in a kadai,deep fry the paneer cubes till it truns lightly brown in colour.keep aside.
heat oil in a pan add onion,cardamom powder,add ginger garlic paste when onion become brown,saulte for while.
add tomato puree,add red chilly powder,turmeric powder,garam masala powder,salt,green chilies.mix well .
now add kasuri methi and stir it for 4 mins.
then ,add the cashew nuts and poppy seeds paste and add 2 cup of water to the pan and mix well.allow it to simmer on the low flame.for a few mins.
now add fried paneer and stir for 7-8 mins.mix well.
remove it from the flame and garnish with coriander leaves and grated paneer before serving.
Serve hot with roti or butter naan.
