Scramble Eggs With Bottle Gourd (Bangladeshi)

Bottle gourd is a very good vegetable. It contains more calcium. So we should consume this with various types. This is one of the lost recipe of Bangladesh.

  • 2 cup grated bottle gourd
  • 2 raw egg
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 2 tsp garlic paste
  • 1 tsp Ginger paste
  • 2 tsp green chilli
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala powder
  • 2 grated tomato
  • 1/2 tsp onion seeds
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp deshi ghee
  • Salt
  • Oil as required


  • Take a frying pan add oil and heat. Add chopped onion, ginger garlic paste and stir.
  • Spice become golden brown add green chilli paste, red chilli powder, tomato, salt and eggs.
  • Stir continuously and keep separate.
  • In the same frying pan add oil then onion seeds, turmeric powder grated bottle gourd and little salt.
  • Mix well and cover with a lid with low flame.
  • When the moist will dry add the cooked scramble mixture, Garamond masala and deshi ghee.
  • Mix properly serve with plain rice/ Roti/ pariahs/ bread.
