So I had a huge batch of lunch rice leftover. And I had got this Schezwan Chutney from the market that I wanted to try...! Voila....The easiet put-together Chinese Fried rice with a minimum fuss and amazing taste.

  • 4 cup White Rice cooked a minimum 6 hours before boiled
  • 1-2 cup Cabbage chopped
  • 3 Capsicum finely chopped capsicums
  • 2 Onions sliced medium
  • 2 tbsp Schezwan Chutney schezwan chutney
  • 4 cloves Garlic
  • 1-2 tsp Salt or as per taste
  • 1-2 tbsp Oil


  • In a non stick pan, heat the oil on low flame. Add the garlic. let it cook for about 10 seconds.
  • Put the flame on high and saute the onions for 1 minute. Add the cabbage and Capsicum and stir fry for 1-2 minutes. They should retain their crunchiness.
  • Add the chutney and mix well. Put in the rice and toss it till it looks done. Serve hot.
