Ingredients
 

  • 1/4 cup Urad Dal
  • 1/4 cup Moong Dal yellow
  • 1/4 cup Green Moong Dal
  • 1/4 cup Tur Dal
  • 1/4 cup Masoor Dal
  • 1/4 Cup Chana Dal
  • 1 cup Rice
  • 1/4 cup Moong
  • 1-2 tsp Salt or as per taste
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda if making muffins
  • Grated Carrot chopped capsicum, tomatoes, green coriander leaves, or vegetables assorted vegetables like
  • 1 Green Chillies chopped

Instructions
 

  • Wash and soak the rice and all dals, moong overnight. Next morning, grind to a smooth paste Add water to adjust consistency like idli batter.
  • Add salt, red chilli powder, green chilli and all vegetables. For making muffins, preheat the oven to 180 degrees for 10 minutes.
  • Use , silicon moulds as it will be easy to de mould. Add the baking soda and give a quick whisk. Pour into cupcake moulds and bake for 12 to 15 minutes Remove when done.
  • De mould after 5 minutes. Serve hot with pudina- dhaniya chutney.

  • If making as uttappams, omit the baking soda. Shallow fry on a non stick pan. Cook both sides till golden brown.
