Sarapuli (Cream Pancake)

Sarapuli is basically an Odia cuisine and one of the Chhapanbhog offers to Lord Jagannath. It's bit tricky and the out come really worth the patience during the preparation.A cream pan cake and no flour is added to this pancake. Then sugar syrup is applied on both the sides of the pancake. Simply mouthwatering dish it is.

Instructions
- In a heavy bottom pan add sugar and water. Add cardamoms. Let it boil till one string consistency.
- Then add 1 teaspoon lime juice to the sugar syrup prepared. Keep it aside.
- In a bowl, add Sara ( cream ) and condensed milk in mentioned quantities. Then mix them with help of weird whisk.
- To a smooth flowing consistency. If the batter is thick, then add a little milk. Batter must not be too thick.
- Brush a little oil or ghee on a heavy bottom pan. Heat it. Put a tablespoon batter on the pan and let it flow it's own.
- Cook it on slow flame. Then flip carefully it into other side. Both sides will take 2 minutes for proper cooking.
Notes
- These pancakes are really very delicate. So during flipping the sides for cooking, one must be careful, or else it will break.
- If You want, you can add some flour as well. But the authentic dish doesn’t contain any flour.
