Salted Caramelized Lime Mojito

The green sprigs soothing the tired eyes. And one is in mocktail heaven. This caramelized lime alcohol-free mojito has everything that will spice up your summer evening together with minimum effort !

Ingredients
  

  • 3 lemons
  • handful of mint leaves
  • 4-5 tbsp sugar syrup or as per taste
  • 2 teaspoon sugar for caramelizing lime
  • ice cubes
  • Salt

Instructions
 

  • Cut 2 of the lemons into two halves. Dip the flat side in the sugar and place on a non stick skillet .
  • Switch on the flame and keep it low. Cook till they caramelize . Take care not to burn.
  • Remove and keep aside till they cool down. Squeeze the juice into serving glasses.
  • Add a few mint sprigs to each glass.
  • Pour 1 tbsp sugar syrup into each glass. Add a pinch of salt.
  • Muddle the contents with the help of a muddler. Pack the glass with ice.
  • Top with chilled water taking care not to stir/move the contents else the ombre effect will be lost !
