A unique way to use the left over rotis to whip up a yummy breakfast.

Ingredients
- 8 left over rotis quartered
- Oil To deep fry
- 1 cup yellow moong dal washed and soaked for 1 hour
- Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper powder
- 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 1/2 teaspoon amchoor
- 1 teaspoon whole jeera
- 1/2 teaspoon haldi
- Water as needed

Instructions
- Keep The rotis in the fridge for 5 minutes. Remove and deep fry , on low flame , in batches. Keep aside as they turn crisp on cooling.
- To prepare the masala dal , In a pressure cooker add the dal, salt , haldi and 3 cups water. Cook on full flame till 3 whistles. To serve, lighltly mash the dal and remove in a serving dish.
- Temper the jeera and pour over the dal. Sprinkle Red Chilli Powder, amchoor and black pepper powder over the dal. Serve Hot With the ready Pakwans.
Notes
These pakwans come out crisp when using left over rotis.
Will not get the same texture and taste with the fresh ones.
