It has excellent antiseptic properties, pain removal, blood purifier, good for skin and get relief from stomach problems. We can consume raw turmeric in any form. In Bengal after meal people demand for sweet and sour chutney. Now it is mango season, so the combination of raw mango, jaggery and raw turmeric produced a lovely gorgeous colour. Obviously taste also unmatchable.

Ingredients
  

  • 250 gm raw mango
  • 100 gm jaggery
  • 1 turmeric root
  • 1 ginger root
  • 1/2 teaspoon small mustard seeds
  • 1/2 mustard oil
  • Pinch of salt
  • Whole red chilli

Instructions
 

  • Cut and boil the mango pieces then keep aside. Heat 1/2 tsp oil in a pan then add mustard seeds and red chilli.
  • Add boiled mango, grated raw turmeric raw ginger. Then pour little water, pinch of salt and jaggery.

  • Let cook for a few minutes it will become a thick consistency. Then switch off the flame serve cool chutney after meal.
