About Raw Banana Cutlet
Raw Banana is a vegetable which is used in various ways.Used to make subzi,pakoda and kofta this is something which has a neutral taste and will take on any taste.So liberally add masalas and make these delicious cutlets for everyone to drool over.I have used bread in two ways:
1.Bread slices – for binding the cutlet mixture
2.Breadcrumbs – for crisping the cutlets
These are great options for parties and rainy days!
So lets make these finger food specials!

Recipe Time & More
Ingredients
- 3 Bananas (peeled and mashed raw â boiled)
- 3 Potatoes (peeled and mashed â boiled)
- 6 slice Bread (or water â soaked in water and squeezed dry)
- 1 1/2 tsp Salt (or as per taste)
- 2 tsp Red Chili Powder
- 2 tsp Coriander Powder
- 2 Green Chillies (â minced finely)
- 1 tbsp Coriander (finely chopped)
- Oil (for frying)
- cup Milk (/2)
- 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs
- 2 tsp Chaat Masala

Instructions
- In a bowl mix the boiled,peeled and mashed Raw Bananas and Potatoes.Add the soaked bread slices,salt,Red Chili and Coriander Powders,minced Green Chilies and chopped Coriander leaves.Mix well and bind to a firm mixture.
- Shape into cylindrical shapes or croquettes.
- Heat Oil in a pan.Take the milk in a bowl and the breadcrumbs on a plate.Dip each croquette in milk and roll in breadcrumbs.When the oil is hot enough fry them on medium heat till crispy and golden brown.
- Serve with Ketchup or Chutney!Real yum!
