A Party Snack with a healthy twist. When tempting Indian snack pakoda, is prepared using super food Quinoa it makes a super snack.
This is also a Healthy Snack for Kids when they want to binge on junk food and want something fried. Then the option is to add some healthy ingredient to it.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Quinoa boiled
  • 1/2 cup Paneer (cottage cheese) grated
  • 1/2 Onion sliced
  • 4 strands Coriander finely chopped
  • 1 sprig Curry leaves finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Coriander powder
  • 1 tablespoon Red chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Amchoor powder Mango Powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoon Rice flour
  • 1 cup Gram flour
  • 1 pinch Baking soda

Instructions
 

  • Wash & boil the Quinoa - this should take about 15-20 mins on a medium flame.
  • In a bowl, add the grated paneer, cooked quinoa, sliced onions, and spice powders, salt to taste and mix well.
  • Add the finely chopped coriander and curry leaves.
  • Add rice flour, gram flour and baking soda.
  • Heat 1 tbsp oil and add this oil when it is hot to the mixture above.
  • Mix all the ingredients and add in a few tsp of water to get a batter consistency.
  • Heat oil in a wok to fry the batter, drop the batter into the hot oil and fry till golden brown.
  • Serve hot with ketchup or mint chutney.
