Fonuts or Makhana are loaded with nutrients ! Light and extremely nourishing, they are the easiest solution to combating those hunger pangs or even keeping them at bay !! A small quantity delivers enough punch for keep one going.
2 cups Phool Makhana
2 teaspoon chopped mint leaves
1 teaspoon butter ( or low fat substitute )
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Himalayan salt ( as per taste )
Heat the butter in a shallow vessel.
Add the mint leaves and fry them on a low flame till they turn crisp.
Add the phool makhana and roast on a low flame for 6-7 mins.
Remove from flame and sprinkle freshly ground pepper and Himalayan pink salt. Toss to coat evenly.
