Pumpkin leaves should be soft and cleaned. There should not any spot or insect bites. Pumpkin should be yellow and fresh. Boil the pumpkin pieces and mashed with some other ingredients. Fold with pumpkin leaves then dip in batter and shallow fry.

Ingredients
- 6-7 leaves Pumpkin
- 250 gm Yellow Pumpkin
- 1/4 cup Gram flour
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp Cumin Powder
- 1/4 tsp Asafoetida
- 1 tbsp Poppyseeds poppyseeds
- Green Chillies chopped
- leaves Coriander chopped
- Oil for shallow for
- 1-2 tsp Salt or as per taste

Instructions
- Wash the Pumpkin leaves properly.
- Steam or boil the pumpkin pieces then mash. Make sure after steamed it should be dried.
- Now take a mixing bowl add mashed pumpkin, salt chopped green chillies, chopped coriander leaves, poppyseeds and little oil.
- Mix all ingredients take a handful mashed pumpkin wrap with pumpkin leaf then fix with toothpick and keep aside.
- Take another mixing bowl add chickpeas flour, turmeric powder, cumin powder, red chilli powder, hing and salt. Make a smooth batter.
- Dip the pumpkin parcels into the batter then shallow fry. Both sides should be cryspy and brown. After then fried leaves will ready to serve.
Recipe Notes
Can be served as a snacks or could be served with steamed rice/ kichidi, pulao etc.
