Ingredients for Pumpkin Chilka With Rice Flour

  • thick skin of pumpkin 1/2 kg
  • salt to taste
  • red chili powder 2 tsp
  • turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • dry mango powder 1 tsp
  • ginger,garlic paste 2tsp
  • onion paste 1 tbsp
  • rice flour 2 tbsp
  • garam masala powder 1/2 tsp
  • oil for frying

How to cook Pumpkin Chilka With Rice Flour

  1. wash and cut into small pieces the pumpkin skin ,boil with 1 glass water for 10 minutes.
  2. mix salt,red chili powder,turmeric powder,dry mango powder,ginger,garlic,onion paste,garam masala powder and rice flour.
  3. mix the boiled pumpkin skin in rice flour mixture.
  4. heat the oil and fry the pakoda till golden.
  5. serve hot with dal-chawal.
