Prawn Hotteok with noodles(Pancake pockets with Prawns )it's a Korean food ,usually it's stuffing sweet and nutty but I make it with prawns and noodles.Crunchiness of outer crust and yeasty fulfilness and delicious filling inside.

  • Dough 2 cup all purpose flour for
  • 2 tsp Sugar
  • 2 tsp Yeast dry
  • 1/2 tsp Salt or as per taste
  • 1 cup Warm Water
  • 1 tsp Vegetable Oil
  • 1 / Stuffing cup bambino noodles for
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 2 tsp Soya Sauce
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper ground
  • 1 tsp Sesame Oil
  • 1 cup Vegetable spring onion,carrot and sweet corn mix chopped like
  • 1 cup Prawns chopped
  • 1 Onion medium size chopped
  • Cooking Oil for fry
  • 1-2 tsp Salt or as per taste
  • 2 cloves Garlic chopped
  • 1 Green Chillies medium size chopped


  • In a large mixing bowl add dry yeast,sugar and water when yeast dissolve add salt and oil and stir well add flour and and mix continue until dough looks smooth.keep it aside 1 and 1/2 hours or till it double in size.
  • Boil water in pan add bambino noodles in it,stir it noodles do not stick each other.cook it when done Strain noodle cold running water.
  • Heat up a pan add 1 tsp cooking oil add chopped garlic after few seconds add green chilli and now add prawns in it,then add soya sauce,sugar,black pepper,salt and finally add noodles in it and continue stir it now add sesame oil in it and mix well.
  • Add carrot,onion,spring onion and sweet corn in it and mix well. Heat oil in pan,Now see the dough it's very sticky,so greese oil in Palm to prevent the dough from sticking,now take dough and flatten on palm,put filling into centre.
  • Seal the edge and make nice round ball of it. Dough is very sticky and soft so don't fill much.put it in pan sealed edge down and pan fry it.,after few second flip it and press with spatula and make round disc of it.
  • Keep flipping it till cook or until brown in colour.Keep it in Strainer to drain excess oil.Like this make all hotteok(pan cake with prawns filling).
  • Serve hot for best result.
