Ingredients
  

  • Maida 1 1/2 Cup
  • Ajwain 1 Teaspoon
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Salt 1 Teaspoon
  • Water 1 Cup
  • For the filling: Oil 2 Tablespoon
  • Green chilli 1 chop
  • Chopped coriander leaves 1 Tablespoon
  • Chaat masala 1 Teaspoon
  • Kashmiri red chilli powder 1 Teaspoon
  • Boiled and mashed potatoes 2 Large
  • Besan 4 Tablespoon
  • Black salt 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Oil for deep frying

Instructions
 

  • First of all, add all purpose flour, salt, melted butter/Ghee, ajwain, in a bowl, then add water gradually & mix well with the help of your hands, kneed a dough
  • Leave for 15-20 Minutes
  • Ad cooking oil in a pan, then add green chilies, chopped coriander leaves, Garam Masala, Red Chili Powder, Chat Masala, black salt, mix well & fry for a while
  • Now add Gram Flour, fry again until it changed into golden brown. Then add boiled mashed potatoes
  • Mix it well by adding salt
  • Filling mixture for potato toffee is ready to use
  • Make a small round chapatti. Apply 3-4 cuts with the help of a sharp cutter
  • Take some filling mixture press it with the help of your hands & put this mixture into that chapatti
  • Now wrap it into a toffee form. Cut it from sides to shape up the toffee
  • Finally fry these toffees until they changed into golden brown.
  • Serve warm with sauce, chatny.
