Maida 1 1/2 Cup
Ajwain 1 Teaspoon
Oil 2 tbsp
Salt 1 Teaspoon
Water 1 Cup
For the filling: Oil 2 Tablespoon
Green chilli 1 , chop
Chopped coriander leaves 1 Tablespoon
Chaat masala 1 Teaspoon
Kashmiri red chilli powder 1 Teaspoon
Boiled and mashed potatoes 2 Large
Besan 4 Tablespoon
Black salt 1/2 Teaspoon
Oil for deep frying
First of all, add all purpose flour, salt, melted butter/Ghee, ajwain, in a bowl, then add water gradually & mix well with the help of your hands, kneed a dough
Leave for 15-20 Minutes
Ad cooking oil in a pan, then add green chilies, chopped coriander leaves, Garam Masala, Red Chili Powder, Chat Masala, black salt, mix well & fry for a while
Now add Gram Flour, fry again until it changed into golden brown. Then add boiled mashed potatoes
Mix it well by adding salt
Filling mixture for potato toffee is ready to use
Make a small round chapatti. Apply 3-4 cuts with the help of a sharp cutter
Take some filling mixture press it with the help of your hands & put this mixture into that chapatti
Now wrap it into a toffee form. Cut it from sides to shape up the toffee
Finally fry these toffees until they changed into golden brown.
Serve warm with sauce, chatny.
