  • 1 cup Sago
  • 2 Potatoes
  • 2 Green Chillies chopped
  • 1/2 tsp Chilli Flakes
  • 1 leaves Coriander
  • 1-2 tsp Salt or as per taste
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp All Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 tsp Grated Ginger
  • 1 Onion finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp Chaat Masala


  • Soak sago for 2 hours
  • Boil and mash potatoes
  • Mix together sago,potatoes,grated ginger,salt,chopped onion,chopped green chilli,chopped coriander leaves,chilli flakes,Chaat masala and 1 tablespoon of breadcrumbs...mix well
  • Take a small portion of the mixture and give it a shape like tikki
  • Make all the tikis like this
  • Make a thin smooth paste of all purpose flour and water
  • Dip the tikis in this paste and then coat with breadcrumbs...
  • Deep fry or shallow fry the tikis till golden brown in colour from both the sides
