Potato Peas And Fenugreek Soup

This is a delectable, creamy potato and pea soup recipe. It was actually my baby's Potato soup recipe which I spruced up with addition of garam masala and a little variation in preparation. When accompanied with a slice of bread flavoured with garlic it's delicious, fresh and a surprising flavourful!

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup potatoes chopped with skin
- 1/2 cup green peas fresh or frozen
- 1/4 cup fenugreek leaves
- 1 tablespoon garam masala
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon powder
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 medium size onion chopped finely
- Chilli flakes for garnish
- Salt
- 2 cup water or if you have vegetable stock all the more healthy

Instructions
- Heat a saucepan with a little oil and gently cook the onions until soft and translucent and starting to caramelise a little.
- Stir in the garam masala and cinnamon powder.
- Add the potatoes and water/stock, then bring to the boil.
- Simmer for ten minutes then add the salt, peas and fenugreek leaves.
- Return to the boil until everything is well cooked.
- Take out from the heat and using a hand mixer/blender, blend everything smooth.
- Garnish with chilli flakes and serve hot with toasted garlic bread.
