lip-smacking finger food prepared mainly from boiled potatoes, semolina and yoghurt. it is an ideal deep fried party starter which can be prepared in less time
Yield / Serves
3 medium size potatoes (boiled, peeled and mashed)
1/2 cup semolina (sooji)
4 tablespoons curd
Salt to taste
2 green chilies finely chopped
2 tablespoons coriander leaves finely chopped
Oil for deep fry
In mixing bowl add semolina, curd. Mix it well n keep aaise for 15minutes on low flame.
Add potatoes, salt, green chilies, coriander leaves in se nilima mixture n mix it well.
Grease your palm take small size portion n roll it
Now take a small ball sized dough making sure to grease hand with oil to prevent from sticking. Make a cylindrical shape to a finger length.
Deep fry in heated oil. stir occasionally, keeping the flame on medium. Fry till the potato fingers turn crispy and golden brown. Drain over a kitchen towel to absorb excess oil. finally.
Serve crispy potato fingers with tomato sauce.
If your mixture get sticky so add little sooji to avoid stickiness.
