Potato Cauliflower curry is a soul satisfying and comfort food of all ages. All time favourite and one of my fav vegetarian Dish. It Is easy and quick to prepare and taste delicious. It is a perfect vegetarian main course dish and goes well with roti, rice, chapathi etc.
2 potatoes chopped
2 cups cauliflower florets and leaves
Â½ tsp Cumin seeds
2 onion sliced
1 green chilly slit
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 tomato chopped
Â½ tsp turmeric powder
1 tbsp Kashmiri red chilly powder
Â½ tsp kitchen king masala
3 tbsps coriander leaves chopped
Water as required
2 tbsps oil
Salt to taste
In a pan heat oil. Add cumin seeds and saute for a min.
Add onion, green chilly, ginger garlic paste and saute till onion turns soft.
Add tomato and saute till it turns soft and mushy. Add turmeric powder, kashmiri Red Chilly powder and kitchen king masala and saute for a min.
Add potatoes, salt to taste and cook on medium flame for around 10 mins.
Add cauliflower florets and tender leaves, stir and mix well.
On medium heat cook for about 5 mins. Add water as required, cover the pan and cook till the potatoes and cauliflower is well cooked.
Adjust the gravy consistency as required and add chopped coriander leaves, give a quick stir and take off the heat.
