Pointed Gourd Curry

This is a simple recipe without any onion and garlic. Pointed gourd is called Parwal which is a popular vegetable. It is very good for weight loss.

Ingredients
- 250 pointed gourd
- 200 gm potato
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1/4 tsp jaggery powder
- 1/4 cup chopped tomatoes
- 1 tbsp coconut milk
- Whole red chilli
- Green chillies
- Panch phoran
- Salt

Instructions
- Wash and cut the Parwal and aloo. Then shallow fry with turmeric powder and salt.
- Make a paste with adding turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, jaggery powder and salt.
- Take a pan add whole red chilli and panch phoran stir for a few seconds. Add chopped tomato and mixed masala again saute.
- Add fried pointed gourd and potato. Stir continuously add little water and cook for a few minutes. Add coconut milk. Now it is ready to serve.
