  • 1 cup Poha
  • 2 cup Full Cream or milk milk
  • 3 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 pinch Cardamom Powder
  • 1 tsp Corn Flour
  • 1 cup Mango chopped
  • Garnishing or almonds chopped almonds for


  • Dry roast poha in a pan for 2 mins and then ground it to a coarse powder in a mixie.
  • Add cornflour with 1tbs of milk and keep aside.
  • Boil milk with sugar, add poha and cook for 3-4 minutes and add cardamom powder to this, mix it well.
  • Mix cornflour to this and cook for 2mins.
  • Remove from fire and let it cool.
  • Now for serving, take any dessert glass or shot glass and place a portion of Mango chunks, spoon some phirni on top and then repeat these layers.
  • Garnish with some chopped almonds.

Recipe Notes

  • You can refrigerate this and can be serve chilled.
