Ingredients for Poha Gatta

  • 1 Cup Poha /Pressed rice
  • Gram flour 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Cumin 1 tsp
  • 1 No Chopped onion
  • Pure ghee 2 tbsp
  • Lemon juice 1 tbsp
  • Chopped green chili 2 no
  • Chopped coriander for garnishing

How to cook Poha Gatta

  1. Soak the poha in water for 5 minutes,drain the excess water ,take a bowl and mix gram flour,salt,red chili powder,green chili,and lemon juice .
  2. Now make the cylinder shape roll with this mixture .
  3. Now wrap the roll in foil paper and fix the ends.
  4. Boil the water in steamer or in a pan,steam the roll for 10 minutes.
  5. Heat the oil in a pan and pop the cumin seeds saute the onion,turn the heat on sim and cut the roll into rounds add in onion mixture ,add coriander leaves and lemon juice,serve with tea.
