Pineapple Chutney

Pineapple is rich in vitamins and antioxidants. It may help to boost the immune system. It is low in calories but most dangerous for pregnant women they should not consume during nine months.

  • 1 bowl pineapple cubes
  • 25 gm jaggery
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1 tsp grated turmeric
  • 1 tsp poppy seeds
  • 1 tsp crushed black pepper
  • 1/2 cup guava juice
  • Lemon juice
  • Pink salt to taste


  • Boil the pineapple with little water. Then add jaggery, grated ginger, grated turmeric, black pepper and pink salt.

  • Cook with lid unit get soft. Then add poppy seeds. Switch off the flame and squeeze lemon juice. Pineapple chutney is to serve.
