Ingredients
- suji/rava-1 cup
- boiled vegetables peas,carrots,beans - 1/2 cup
- water- 2.5 cups
- Salt
- onion chopped- 1/2 cup
- capsicum chopped- 1/2 cup
- red chilly powder- 1/2 tsp
- green chillies chopped- 1 tsp
- garam masala-1 tsp
- mustard seeds - 1 tsp
- curry leaves- 1 tsp
- basil leaves- a bunch
- pinenuts/walnuts- 10-12
- garlic- 2 tbsp
- olive oil- 1/4 cup
- parmesan cheese-1/4 cup

Instructions
- 1. to make pesto sauce, add basil leaves, olive oil,pinenuts,parmesan cheese,salt and garlic in a blender. blend till a smooth paste is formed.
- to make upma, heat a pan. add oil. saute ginger,garlic,onion and capsicum. add in suji/rava. and stir it and cook till a little brown colour appears. add in water and boiled vegetablesand . cook well till mixture starts to leave the sides of the pan.
- when the mixture leaves the sides of the pan, add in the pesto sauce and salt and cook again for 4-5 minutes.
- serve with chilly tomato sauce.
