The most popular streetfood in India…it is a Pav bread with delicious curry or bhaji served with chopped onion ,chilli and lemon which give it a very tangy ,yummy and delectable taste
Yield / Serves
Pav bread 10
Butter 1 cup
Chopped Cabbage 1 cup
Chopped carrot 1 cup
4 medium sized Potatoes peeled and cut into 4
Green peas half cup
Capsicum chopped 1 cup
Pav bhaji masala 2 tablespoons
Chopped tomatoes 2
Chopped onion 1 cup
Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
Coriander leaves chopped 2 tablespoons
First boil potatoes,cabbage,carrot,peas,capsicum and salt to 2-3 whistles
Take a pan and add 4 tablespoons oil..add chopped onion and cook till pink in colour
Add ginger garlic paste and sautÃ© for 2-3 mins till oil separates
Add chopped tomatoes and cook well..add Pav bhaji masala and red chilli powder
Mash the vegetables coarsely and mix it with the masala paste
Now mix everything well and add required water to maintain consistency and cook for another 5 mins
Add 2 tablespoons of butter and coriander leaves... Bhaji is ready
Now cut Pav into two halves..cook in a tawa with applying butter in both sides...
Serve these Pav with bhaji and chopped onion and lemon...
