Handvo is a Gujarati dish. It is very light and good in digestion. We can use many vegetables in it. But apart from vegetables, I have given a twist by adding paneer.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 bowl semolina suji/sooji
  • 1 bowl sour curd
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 2 tablespoon capsicum chopped
  • 3 tablespoon onion chopped
  • 150 gm paneer
  • 1 teaspoon chat masala
  • 2 teaspoon oil

Instructions
 

  • Take a mixing bowl and add sooji and sour curd in it. Mix it and add red chili powder, salt, black pepper and chat masala to it. Mix it properly and keep it aside.
  • In the mean while chopp onion, capsicum and mash 100 gms paneer. Now put these three things in the batter and mix it properly.

  • Brush the pan with oil and heat it. Now pour all the batter on the pan and spread it evenly. After spreading the batter, grate the remaining 50 gms of Paneer evenly and properly on it. Now drop few drops of oil around edges if needed.

  • Now cover it with the lid for 5 to 8 mins. Flame should be medium and then low. After 8 mins flip it and again cover it with the lid for 8 mins. After 8 mins open the lid and check whether it is done or not.

  • If it done then transfer this Paneer Handvo to the plate. Serve it hot with green chuyney or any dip of your choice.
